First the Triple-A Lynx, now the Ottawa region is losing another connection to major-league baseball: Sam Holman, maker of the famed Sam Bat, wants to sell his business. He put it on eBay for $3.5 million US -- this is a business started out of a garage, on a bet no less -- but didn't get one bid. But he said that was more of a feeler to let it be known he's looking to sell.
Oh well, there's still Navan's Erik Bédard, doing quite well with the Baltimore Orioles.
