HOCKEY LAST NIGHT: SENS LOSE SPEZZA

Chinese food for Christmas dinner? Ain't nothing wrong with that.

Lightning 4 Senators 2: Do the Bad Senators always get blown out? No, sometimes they come from ahead to lose. Worse yet for Ottawa, Jason Spezza left the arena on crutches after being crunched along the boards.

Sabres 7 Predators 2: Christmas Vacation 2 will star Preds forward Scott Nichol, who's going to come in for a suspension after sucker-punching Jaroslav Spacek.

Buffalo and Nashville hadn't met since Nov. 29, 2003, and " won't play again this season unless it's in the Stanley Cup finals." A Buffalo-Nashville final -- that'll grab everyone's attention.

Thrashers 4 Penguins 3: Weird stat: Atlanta's now 11-2-6 when they're outshot. Shouldn't that 11 be in the middle column?
