FAREWELL, CARL LAZLO, ESQ.

The actor Peter Boyle, best remembered of course for his role as the lovable curmudgeon Frank Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond, died last night at age of 71 after a lengthy battle with cancer.

His wire-service obit neglected to mention his role alongside Bill Murray in 1980's Where The Buffalo Roam.

It's a cult movie, but for those who have been hardcore Hunter S. Thompson devotees, Murray/Boyle compare pretty favourably to the Johnny Depp/Benicio del Toro tandem in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.
