What really infuriated me about Pound was when he started picking numbers out of thin air regarding the NHL. (Remember the infamous 1/3 comment?) He had absolutely nothing to back that up, and to smear that many guys without some clear evidence was, to me, a gross abuse of his office. On the rare occasions he isn't going out of his way to pick fights and glory seek, Pound makes some very good points regarding doping in sports. No one is in the mood to listen anymore, unfortunately, because they got tired of Pound's incredibly annoying personal style. If ever there was a cause that needed a new spokesperson, it's that one.
